First starting out on my own after college, I wanted to get away from the “student” look of my humble furnishings. That’s when decided to buy the strongest shelves I could afford to hold the many books I had accumulated as a student. Good quality wood bookshelves were out of my budget at that time so I turned to metal storage shelving. Little did I realize I was on the cutting edge of the contemporary industrial look in interior design.
